Step 1: Pay Enrollment Deposit

To secure your spot in the upcoming class, submit your non-refundable $100 enrollment deposit. 

What does this enrollment deposit do? 

  1. Secures your spot in the upcoming class
  2. Allows you to sign up for Orientation
  3. Allows you to register for classes (after signing up for Orientation)
  4. Allows you to be assigned an academic advisor

The priority deadline for enrollment deposits was May 1, but deposits will continue to be accepted until capacity is reached.  You are encouraged to deposit soon in order to secure your spot with the incoming class.

How do you submit your enrollment deposit?

  1. Activate your PirateID and select a secure passphrase.
  2. Log into PiratePort. Pirate Port will be a very important tool for you at ECU!
  3. At the top of PiratePort, there is a search bar. Click into that bar and type “tuition”.
  4. Select “Tuition Statements, 1098-T Statements and Payments.”
  5. In the new window that will open (as long as your PopUp Blocker is disabled), you should select the “Deposits” tab.
  6. Choose the deposit term (such as Fall 2024), and click “Select”.
  7. Choose “Enrollment Deposit – Main Campus,” click “Select,” and then “Continue
  8. Choose your desired payment method, and click “Select.” Follow the steps on the screen to enter and submit your payment information.

Note: You will receive a payment confirmation by email.
